Dear Amy: I’m writing about my 20-year-old granddaughter. She didn’t get along with her father at home, and asked to move in with me.She was having emotional problems and even at one point tried to end her life. She was also diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. You can’t really tell except once in a while, when she says she’s in pain.Because she cried that she was having problems with her dad, I allowed her to temporarily move in.She promptly quit college and her job. She sleeps away most of the day.She has been here for a year. She uses every excuse you can think of not to do anything with her life, although she recently did get a part-time job.She only comes home when she feels like it (a few nights a week). Her bedroom is wall-to-wall clothes, dirty dishes, etc.I always used that room for my other grandchildren to stay over. Now, none of them want to stay with me.I’m 71 years old, have worked all my life, and am now retired and struggling to get by.I love my g...Commission approves €20 million Estonian scheme to support companies in the context of Russia's war against Ukraine

Now it faces biggest test so far against rival Arsenal

MANCHESTER, England (AP) — There was little to suggest Tottenham would make an unbeaten start in the Premier League this season, winning four out of five games to leave it two points behind leader Manchester City and second in the standings. The London club did, after all, sell record goal scorer Harry Kane to Bayern Munich in the offseason without signing an obvious replacement. Spurs were also on the back of a campaign that saw them fail to qualify for Europe for the first time since 2009 after discarding a fourth manager in as many years when Antonio Conte became the latest in a long line of coaches to fail to bring success to the club. Few, then, would have expected Ange Postecoglou to bring the feel-good factor in such a short space of time after being hired in June and named Premier League manager of the month for August. It has been quite a honeymoon period for the Australian coach. Not that he agrees.“I don’t know what your honeymoon was like, but mine didn’t have me losing ...Hollywood: guionistas y estudios retoman negociación para desbloquear la huelga

The Associated Press college football poll started in 1936, the brainchild of former sports editor Alan J. Gould. The number of teams ranked, the number of voters on the panel and how the ballots are tabulated has fluctuated over the years, but no organization has been ranking teams and naming a major college football national champion longer than the AP.
