After eight days of witness testimony and another day of closing arguments, jurors cast their votes on each article on the Senate floor Saturday. Why was Ken Paxton acquitted?Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton makes a statement at his office, May 26, 2023, in Austin, Texas. Never mind the explosive pass game. Vikings need the run game to improve.

Never mind the explosive pass game. Vikings need the run game to improve. A common refrain from Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell this offseason was efficiency in the run game.As confident as he was that the Vikings would be able to air it out, with star receiver Justin Jefferson capable of cooking anybody that lines up across from him, O’Connell also understood the importance of keeping opposing teams honest on the ground. That’s why the lack of the success in the run game has been somewhat jarring as the Vikings have fallen to 0-2 with losses to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Eagles.Shockingly, the Vikings have amassed only 69 yards on the ground so far this season.“We’ve got to go back to work and find ways to run the football,” O’Connell said this week after the Vikings ran the ball less than 10 times in a 34-28 loss to the Eagles. “Because it’s not a good formula to have to play like that.”The goal for the Vikings heading into next Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Charg...
