AUSTIN (KXAN) – A man was sentenced to prison Tuesday after being arrested in connection to 2021 “sexually motivated” robberies that targeted women in north Austin.According to Travis County court records, 25-year-old Carlos Saucedo submitted a guilty plea Tuesday for two charges — robbery and aggravated robbery. A previous charge for indecency with a child involving exposure connected to the investigation was dismissed in August 2022.A judge sentenced Saucedo to serve 8 years at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility in Huntsville. In addition to the 8-year prison sentence, Saucedo must also pay $345 in court fees. COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Catskill man was arrested on Friday and is accused of second-degree rape. Michael Oquendo, 26, faces additional charges. On Friday, March 10, Cohoes Police were contacted by a family reporting that their 13-year-old daughter was missing. Police say they interviewed the complainant and a witness and determined the girl was picked up by a male in a white Ford truck an hour before being reported missing. Police patrolled the area and reviewed street camera footage, eventually finding the truck in the city. Police pulled over Oquendo and found the missing girl inside. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany woman pleaded guilty to money laundering conspiracy and making false statements to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on Thursday. Kristle "Demii" Walker, 39, faces up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000 total if convicted.
