22 dogs seized from Andover rescue organization in investigation into dead dogs found in Cottage Grove

Officials removed 22 dogs from an animal-rescue organization in Andover on Friday morning after executing a search warrant in connection with eight dead dogs found in Cottage Grove.The bodies of the dogs were found along the side of a road Sunday in a rural part of Cottage Grove. They were believed to have been brought into the city for disposal after having died from an illness elsewhere, police said this week. The dogs, all of a smaller variety, were found in the tree line along Grey Cloud Island Drive near Grey Cloud Island Trail in Cottage Grove. The dogs included a Schnauzer and other similar-size white dogs, which could be a terrier breed.After receiving a tip from the public, Cottage Grove police on Tuesday executed a search warrant on a house in Cottage Grove. PHELPS COUNTY, Mo – A former deputy sheriff from Phelps County was charged on October 18 for possessing child sexual assault material (CSAM) and is scheduled to appear in court on October 20. A federal grand jury has indicted Justin Bradley Durham, 42, for purchasing and possessing CSAM. He also faces charges related to the destruction or alteration of records. According to court records, between December 2013 and December 2014, Durham coerced an underage girl into engaging in sexual acts and recorded them. He kept the CSAM of the girl. Between December 9, 2017, and July 2, 2018, he obtained CSAM involving a second girl. ST. LOUIS – A man from north St. Louis stole money from his former job and then spent $1,000 on a scam, spending the remainder on his girlfriend. Jonathan Davis, 24, now faces over 10 years in prison for an armed robbery committed at the Steak ‘N Shake where he once worked. Additionally, he must reimburse $3,715 in damages. The man who crashed his vehicle into a Kohl's in Huntington Beach last week is now facing six charges for attempted murder.Tuan Miller, 54, of Anaheim, was arrested last Friday after he allegedly crashed into the front of the department store at the Bella Terra Mall.Miller fled the scene, but was later arrested, at which point it was determined he was under the influence of an undisclosed drug.On Friday, Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer released new information about the crash, including that it's being investigated as an intentional act.Miller is accused plowing into a group of people who were standing outside the store and listening to a group of singers.
