Schuylerville restaurant closing its doors after 5 years SCHUYLERVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Geppetto’s Restaurant, an Italian eatery located at 120 Broad Street in Schuylerville, is closing. "I have put a lot of thought into this decision, and it is time for the next chapter in my life," said the post. "We would like to thank our staff and our patrons for the past five years. I have learned a lot and am moving forward with many experiences and more importantly, many friends."Geppetto’s will be closing after dinner service on Sunday, April 2. The restaurant will be open 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Boulder police, bomb squad investigating suspicious package found at Foothills Elementary Boulder police on Friday morning announced they were investigating a suspicious package found at an elementary school, closing roads in that area.A bomb squad went to the school in north Boulder,  Foothills Elementary, and the police were preparing to X-ray the package, Boulder police said in a Twitter post. School was closed Friday morning as the police went to work but the elementary school was empty due to spring break.We are currently investigating a suspicious package in front of Foothills Elementary at 1001 Hawthorn. Colorado wildfire burning on 1,088 acres near Florissant; 100 homes evacuated A wind-whipped wildfire west of Colorado Springs, spreading from Park County into Teller County south of Florissant, had burned across more than 1,088 acres Friday morning, forcing evacuations of about 100 homes.A Lake George Fire Protection District dispatcher said the U.S. Forest Service took over efforts to manage the fire early Friday morning.
