ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The New York State Department of Agriculture is kicking off a new initiative to help families purchase food made by farmers right here in the state.Fresh2You doubles buying power for SNAP recipients and helps offset additional costs some families are facing because of inflation. The program also benefits local farms. WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Queens man was arrested and is accused of sexual abuse. Rajesh Kumar, 33, is charged with first-degree sexual abuse. According to New York State Police, on April 6, around 10:45 p.m., troopers received a complaint of unwanted sexual contact on a mass transit bus in Wilton. Police say an investigation determined Kumar allegedly had forcible unwanted sexual contact with the victim. Kumar was arrested at Wilton State Police and was processed. He was arraigned at the Wilton Town Court and is held at the Saratoga County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash or a $20,000 bond.Albany Police: Arrest made in Morris Street homicide

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Police Department has arrested Isaiah Anderson, 37, of Troy, and charged him with one count of Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree. At around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, police located Alonzo Ford, 60, with multiple gunshot wounds inside a home on the 500 block of Morris Street. Ford was pronounced deceased at the scene.Detectives identified Anderson as the suspect and took him into custody on Tuesday. Police say Anderson and Ford are known to each other. GRANITE CITY, Ill. -- A series of false threats to Illinois schools has put administrators, police, and parents on alert. One threat in Madison County led to an immediate and massive response from police.Police vehicles are lined up along on Madison Avenue in Granite City, Illinois Wednesday morning. For the second time in as many months, Kim Gardner met a deadline Tuesday to respond to a petition from the Missouri Attorney General and refused to step down from office amid her response.
