CHICAGO -- A man was found dead in a car that was on fire in the city's Austin neighborhood overnight. According to police, they found a car in an alley near the 5400 block of West Jackson Boulevard that was on fire. Police reportedly found an unidentified man in the driver's seat who was pronounced dead on the scene. 2 people shot at Scene75 Entertainment Center in Romeoville A passenger in the vehicle relayed to officers that they were driving southbound in the alley when they heard shots fired and the driver reserved and struck a pole. The vehicle then caught fire and the passenger was able to exit the vehicle before it caught fire. AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department asked for help finding a missing 71-year-old man last seen Monday. Paul Dominguez was last seen Monday around 4 p.m., according to APD. He was leaving the 4600 block of Lennox Drive in south Austin walking to the Menchaca Branch Library. He was reported missing Friday, according to police."Due to Dominguez’s unexplained disappearance, we are concerned about his immediate welfare," APD said. Dominguez was described as a 5'11" white man weighing 220 pounds. He has white hair and blue eyes, according to police.If you see him, APD said to call 911. ST. LOUIS -- Saturday will be hot with increasing humidity ahead of our next cold front. Today is likely the hottest day of the year so far with highs near 96, feeling a few degrees hotter with the heat index. Storms could fire as early as this afternoon in central and northeast Missouri. The chances are more favorable in our area later this evening into tonight. A complex of storms looks to develop in Iowa/Northern MO and track southeast. There could be some strong to severe storms with this, especially earlier on. The threat is the highest along and north of I-70 and damaging wind gusts are the main concern. The severe threat will diminish over time as the complex continues southeast and weakens gradually. Storms should clear the area by about 3 a.m. Sunday. Sunday will be hot and windy with time to climb into the 90s again. Monday will be nice with temps in the mid 80s and breezy conditions.
