After taking hospital workers' advice to put their newborn on a medical helicopter, they now are battling a $60,000 bill — and wondering why the flight was necessary in the first place. DENVER (KDVR) -- One small dog caused a big issue on Wednesday after getting stuck in a drainage pipe.On Wednesday morning, Harvey, a beagle, ran after a small creature and became stuck in a drainage pipe at the Little Dry Creek Dog Park. When it became clear Harvey wasn't going to leave of his own accord, Westminster Police Department's Animal Management officers and firefighters responded to the scene to help out. 2 dogs rescued in 2 days by Aspen firefighters Thankfully, Harvey is safely back in the arms of his humans, but the process was not an easy one, according to the Westminster Fire Department's Facebook page.Harvey was stuck in a drainage pipe that began on dry land but ended in the creek, which isn't so dry during this season. Boston police are turning to the public for help as they search for a person who robbed a postal worker at gunpoint in Dorchester on Thursday evening. Officers responding to a reported armed robbery in the area of Talbot and Welles Avenue around 5:45 p.m. found a postal worker who said he had just been robbed of his mail key at gunpoint, according to Boston police.The gunman was described as a light-skinned Hispanic male in his late teens-early 20s with a thin build who was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater, gray sweatpants, and a black ski mask.He was last seen fleeing on Talbot Avenue toward Washington Street. SAN DIEGO -- San Diego authorities are offering a $1,000 reward anyone with information that leads to an arrest in a case involving two suspects connected to vehicle burglaries and fraudulent purchases amounting to approximately $3,500.The vehicle burglaries occurred on Nov. 11 around 2:20 p.m. at 5795 Noble Drive in Miramar, San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego Police Department said in a news release Thursday. The suspects stole various items and purses from inside three vehicles, which were parked at the Veteran's Cemetery. (AP) — New Mexico environmental officials have proposed a new regulatory framework for reusing wastewater with a focus on the used, salty byproducts of oil and natural gas drilling in a major U.S. production zone.The Environment Department announced Thursday its petition to the Water Quality Control Commission to begin formal deliberations on the proposed rules.
