(The Hill) -- A former pastor was arrested after he confessed to the kidnapping and killing of an 8-year-old girl who attended a Bible camp hosted by the man's church in Pennsylvania nearly 50 years ago, officials said Monday.David Zandstra, 83, of Marietta, Georgia, has been charged with criminal homicide, murder of the first, second and third degree, kidnapping of a minor and the possession of an instrument of crime. The Delaware County District Attorney's Office said the man admitted to the crimes after being presented with allegations made in a January interview that the man groped a different young girl and may have attempted to kidnap another.Gretchen Harrington, 8, disappeared the morning of Aug. 15, 1975, in Marple, Pennsylvania, after she left for Bible camp, according to the statement. AUSTIN (KXAN) – As University of Texas students prepare to move out at the end of the summer, several groups want to make sure the students' treasures don't turn into trash for everyone else. Austin Resource Recovery, Austin Code, the University of Texas Office of Sustainability and the UT New Student Services Off-Campus Initiative will host the annual MoveOutATX starting Friday. The groups said students can drop off gently used furniture, household items, small appliances, clothing, cleaning supplies, unopened food and more at eight donation stations throughout North and West Campus Friday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.MoveOut provides local reuse organizations with unwanted items in good condition, according to the groups. NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people have been seriously injured after a three-car crash on Troy-Schenectady Road near Hickory Road in Niskayuna. The Niskayuna Police Department said the crash happened around 3:20 p.m. on Monday. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Niskayuna Fire, Colonie Ambulance, and Mohawk Ambulance all responded to the scene to treat the occupants of the vehicles. WASHINGTON PARK, Ill. - Police are investigating a shooting between two men at the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Station Tuesday morning.The shooting broke out after an altercation between two individuals at the JJK Station a little before 5:30 a.m. After shots were fired, the shooter fled from the train, and the adult male victim continued ride to the Washington Park station. ST. LOUIS - Crews are responding to a multi-vehicle crash on North Broadway Tuesday morning.The crash happened a bit after 7:10 a.m. on North Broadway and East Taylor Avenue, just east of the Bellefontaine Cemetery. Our Bommarito Automotive Group SkyFOX helicopter was flying over the area, where at least six vehicles can be seen impacted from the crashes.
