Authorities search for missing mother and her 2 young children Family members and law enforcement are asking for help locating a woman and her two young children who have been missing for two weeks.Sindy Lopez Marcela, 31, Angel Lopez, 6, and Simon Carreno, 2, were last seen on the morning of Friday, Aug. 18 in the 37500 block of Morning Circle in Palmdale, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.All three are considered “at risk.” No further information about their disappearance was released.“Sindy’s family is concerned for her and her children’s well-being and are asking for the public’s help,” the Sheriff’s Department said in a statement.Sindy is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and a burn mark on her left hand. Bailey was wearing a court-mandated ankle monitor when he jumped out of a vehicle and violently robbed the elderly victim, 75-year-old Pak Ho, on March 9, 2021.Investigators said Bailey shoved Ho to the ground on Jayne Avenue near Perkins Street. Ho struck his head on the concrete and died from his injuries two days later. (KRON) -- A Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) bus caught fire on Friday at a bus yard on Zanker Road, according to the San Jose Fire Department (SJFD). A battery on the electric bus ignited the fire, VTA officials said. The bus had no passengers at the time of the fire. Lockdown lifted at San Jose high school Two VTA mechanics attempted to put the fire out but initially failed.
